Cai, Zi-han
Born in Kaohsiung in 1996, Taiwan, Cai, Zi-han graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Tainan University of Technology. She is currently studying at National Kaohsiung Normal University for the master degree in fine art, specializing in ink painting and calligraphy. She became attached to the Buddha when she was young, listening to her grandmother chanting Buddhist scriptures. In paintings, CAI also used Buddha and religion as the main content. While studying the figure' paintings, CAI also involves religious art. She believes that the messages from religious art is universal. Its purpose is not to persuade people to get religion, but to convey the wisdom of the ancient Dharma. It is a profound philosophy.

For example, the three-dimensional space of Mandala in Thangka is the most complicated. The concept of the universe of time and space is drawn into the four-dimensional space through the planar form to reach a harmony state with oneself, all beings and external environment. The artist uses the traditional techniques of religious art to transform the contemporary Thangka's painting style. In the process of thinking and painting, she gets the peace and elevation of the soul from the understanding of its background, sermons and stories.
