Yuval Gluska, 38, is a blend of architect and artist,
who studied in the environmental design department at Jerusalem's Bezalel
Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem,
moved to New York and earned a degree in architecture from
The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
He was awarded the Education and Culture Ministry's Prize to
Encourage Creativity and Architecture in Israel.
His work explores the foundations of the material's aesthetic language,
form and characteristics, and seeks to transform the architect's office into
a creative studio and cultural bastion.
As a practicing architect in Tel-Aviv, Israel, he designs residential buildings and
interior though his intellectual background in architecture involves academic and
artistic work in drawing and 3 dimension design of concrete vessels and objects.
Currently Gluska is practicing architecture alongside with artistic work in concrete
design of vessels and objects that are photographed and used in a 2 dimension
collage/montage of digital images.
